At Dreamcatcher Meadows we offer services to you and your horse spanning “Conception to Competition”. From world-class boarding facilities, custom training programs, competition management, sales, and an internationally recognized breeding program, we take pride in helping riders and horses find harmonious partnerships both in and out of the saddle.
Building on classical training principles, we construct custom programs to meet the needs of the individual horse and rider. We don’t view competition as an end in itself, but it is a good measure of a teacher’s ability. The exceptional results attained by our students who span all ages, a variety of disciplines, and levels of experience, speak volumes of the quality partnerships we produce.

Boarding
With expert staff and multiple boarding options (25-stall training barn, breeding barn, and 24/7 outdoor turnout fields) to suit your horse’s needs, your horse will receive premium care all year round at Pemberton’s premier equestrian center. Whether your horse is here for training, to foal, retire, or simply “grow up” they will flourish at Dreamcatcher Meadows.
Horse Training
From a youngsters first time under saddle to teaching piaffe & passage, the classical training methods we use in daily training produce horses that are happy and healthy to go to work each day. We treat each horse as an individual, taking the extra time to ensure all their needs are met both mentally and physically to allow them to excel and fulfill their potential.
Riding Lessons
Based on widely accepted and proven classical teaching principles. Our methodology draws on a variety of equestrian training approaches generously passed on to us by some of the world’s leading teachers, ranging from Alberta cowboy common sense to over decade-long coaching from top Olympians (Charlotte Bredahl, Carl Hester, and others). Building on classical training principles, we construct a program to meet the needs of the individual student.

Competition Management
While showing may not be an aspiration for everyone, we do believe that it is a valuable tool for teaching both young horses and young riders. Preparing and going to shows allows young stock to experience new surroundings and experiences (trailering, bathing, braiding, etc.), and allows them to become confident and comfortable in their own bodies. Investing in a solid show foundation ensures their success in whatever career they go on to with their new owners. For our young students, even going to a simple schooling show means learning about preparation, focus, and precision in order to succeed. These skills are transferable to all aspects of life and it is our hope that our students can utilize them in their life beyond the barn.
