Dreamcatcher Meadows is delighted to work with the registered charity New Stride Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. Non-competitive or injured thoroughbreds have few options for future work; many have met a career end at a very young age. Dreamcatchers adopts, rehabilitates and trains these animals with a view to giving them a new lease on life with a role as ridden horse, surrogate mother for embryo transfer or as a field companion. Some special cases remain here and are cared for in full retirement.
Please consider New Stride and make a fully tax-deductible charitable donation to help them care for these unfortunate horses. As there are more horses than there are funds for rehabilitation, in these trying economic times too many horses are finding their way to auction.
