Frequently Asked Questions

Question: I and or my parents are nervous about me playing. How safe is paintball?
Answer: Paintball is one of the safest sporting activities that you can participate in..

Question: Will it hurt if I get shot?
Answer: It really depends on where you get hit. Generally a paintball hit on exposed skin will sting and can leave a small mark or bruise that will fade in a few days. Large jackets will help reduce paintball impacts. Tight fitting gloves will help to protect your hands.

Question: Can I bring my own paintballs with me?
Answer: No. All paintballs, including those used to chronograph your gun must be purchased from onsite. Off field paint is not permitted and anyone using off field paint will be asked to leave.

Question: Do I need to come with a group?
Answer: Not usually. Because of the size and popularity of our facilities we generally have a large number of walk-on players who play together. If there are enough players we will usually split the group up by experience and run the less experienced players as their own group. If you have a group of 20 or more players you can call ahead (48 hour notice please) and reserve a spot as a private group.

Question: Do you accept credit cards?
Answer: No We accept cash only at this time.

Question: How much is a day going to cost me on average?
Answer: It all depends on how much you shoot and whether you are a gun owner or require rental equipment. New players will generally shoot much less than a more experienced player. Most renters will shoot between 300-500 paintballs per day. Check the "rates" link for pricing.

Question: How old do I have to be to play paintball?
Answer: Men and women 12 years and older can play. Players between the ages of 12-18 must have signed parental consent. You can find our waiver here (Olp Waiver) if you'd like to fill it out and bring it with you to save a little time.

Question: Should I bring lunch with me?
Answer: If you wish, certainly. We do not have fridge facilities so you may want to pack anything perishable into a cooler.

Question: What should I bring with me when I come to play?
Answer: It's a good idea to bring appropriate clothing, good footwear, tight fitting gloves (such as gardening gloves), sunblock, and bug spray. If you're a gun owner a set of tools for your marker is also a good idea.

Question: What should I wear and do paintballs stain clothing?
Answer: While paintballs are non-toxic and fully water soluble they can stain some types of fabric, especially if it is not washed out in a timely manner. You'll also be running around in the woods and possibly crawling around on the ground. It's a good idea to wear comfortable older clothing that can get dirty and a little beat up. You should also wear a pair of shoes or boots that offer good support and grip when running. Gloves are a good idea to protect your hands.

Question: I'm a gun owner, and I'm wondering if I have a problem with my marker while I'm playing will there be help available?
Answer: Our knowledgeable and well trained staff will do their best to help you with your paintball marker if you experience problems.
